The tc-100 temp control system will manage cooling of your FLEX Fermenter. The digital controller's temp probe inserts into the included thermowell that attaches to the secondary port of the FLEX. Also included is a specially fitted neoprene jacket which features reinforced port holes to reduce the chance of ripping during install. Lastly, it comes with special insulated tubing. This greatly reduces tube cooling losses and will prevent your cooling lines from sweating all lover the floor during hot summer days.

For cooling: When the temp in the FLEX rises above the set point of the controller, it will turn on the pump submerged in your cold water reservoir (bucket of ice water, aquarium, glycol chiller, DYI AV chiller etc). This will pump cold water/glycol throught the temp control coil, which mounts to the lid, cooling your beer until it reaches the controller set point.For Heating: When the temp of the FLEX falls below the controller set point the optional heater will kick on warming the unit up to the desired temp.
