Midnight Wheat - Briess
Briess Midnight Wheat Malt will deliver intense color and subtle, smooth flavor to Black IPAs, Schwarzbier and other dark beers that long for color without bitter or harsh flavors. Use as a replacement for any debittered black malt. 550L

Smooth, No bitter, astringent, dry flavors or aftertaste. Starts slightly sweet. Mild roasted/ chocolate/coffee flavors and aromas. Midnight wheat finishes exceptionally clean.

  • 1-2% Will lend to minor color adjustment with little to no flavor impact in lighter lagers and ales
  • 2-5% Adds color with subtle, very smooth flavor
  • 5-7% For more color plus hints of smooth roast flavor
