Grow you own hops at home!

Hop Plants like sun and good drainage but are pretty easy to grow. We will give you some instructions. They come back year after year bringing you more yummy smelling hops.

Here is the list of the hops we have available.

  • Cascade: 4.5-7.0% alpha. Grows well in all climates. Susceptible to aphid.
  • Centennial: 9.5 -11.5% alpha. Grows well in all climates. Susceptible to downy mildew.
  • Chinook: 11.0-13.0% alpha. Grows well in dry, hot climates. Does not grow well in moist climates. Subject to spider mite. Great ornamental hop.
  • Cluster hops offer a smooth, neutral, bitterness complimented by a spicy and floral aroma with fruity notes. A great choice in Lagers, Stouts, and Porters. Grows well in dry, hot climates. Vigorous but susceptible to mildew diseases. 6.0-9.0% AA. Grows well in all climates. Susceptible to Downy Mildew.
  • Columbus: 14.5-15.5% alpha. Grows well in dry hot climates. Vigorous but susceptible to mildew diseases.
  • Comet: 8-10.5% alpha. A dual purpose hop, providing great bittering and assertive aroma notes. Known for its unique "Wild American" aroma with notes of grass and grapefruit. Grows well in all climates. Use for aroma and bittering for pale ales, IPAs, etc.
  • Mt. Hood: 4-5% alpha. Hybrid of a Hallertaur. Grows well in all climates.
  • Vista: 9.1-11.3% AA. Grows well in all climates. Ripe honeydew, papaya and tropical mélange, white peach and fleshy pear.
  • Willamette 4-6% AA - Grows well in all climates. Mild pleasant slightly spicy. Great for use in American ales when you don't want the Citrus notes of Cascade. Is a great hop to use when blending different hops together.
  • ChinookVery distinctive bittering hop usually used in ales. Some brewers use for a finish hop as well, it has a medium spicy aroma. The flavor/aroma is spicy and unique, with a huge following of loyal fans. 12.0-14.0% AA - Grows well in dry, hot climates. Does not grow well in moist climates. Subject to spider mites, and a great Ornamental hop on top of it's fantastic flavors!
  • Sterling is a great substitute for Saaz due to a similar spice aroma. This hop is very similar to Santiam but not as floral. Best described as herbal and spicy, with a hint of floral, citrus (lemon/pineapple) characteristics. Ideal for all Lagers, Belgian ales, and Wheat ales. 6.0-9.0% AA. Grows well in all climates. Sterling is a hybrid of Saaz.
  • Crystal A very clean aroma hop that produces a mild, floral and spicy aroma. Due to it being mild and clean, this hop variety can be used in a variety of beer styles, including: Lagers, Kolsch, ESB, Pilsners, Pale Ales, IPAs, and Belgian Ales. 4.0-6.0% AA. Grows well in all climates. Crystal is related to Mt. Hood and Liberty
  • Nugget The considerable oil content and lower cohumulone levels make this a very versatile hop. 11.5-14.0% AA - Grows well in all climates. A great bittering hop that is commonly used in U.S. commercial breweries.
  • Cashmere Originally released in 2013, Cashmere was developed by Washington State University as a cross between Cascade and Northern Brewer. With a higher alpha acid content than Cascade, this dual-purpose hop has a smooth bitterness, but really shines as a late addition hop when used at knock out, whirlpool, or dry hopping. Expect an herbal, slightly spicy aroma with notes of lemon, lime, melon and stone fruit. 7.7-9.1% AA. Grows well in all climates.
